Spring Lake rode a strong first half to pick up a conference win against Hudsonville Unity Christian Tuesday night. The Lakers led by 17 at halftime en route to a 53-42 win in O-K Blue action.

Spring Lake led 32-15 at halftime, but saw its lead cut to as few as six in the third quarter. By the start of the fourth, Spring Lake pushed the lead back to 10 and closed out the win.

The Lakers had a balanced scoring attack with four players scoring at least eight points. Ella Andree led the way with 14 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Tessa Britt had a nice game with 12 points and eight rebounds, while Brooke Bolthouse added 10 points and Alexa Carter totaled eight points and 10 rebounds. 

Spring Lake is now 8-9 overall and 4-7 in O-K Blue action.
