The Kent City boys basketball team used a comeback effort on Monday night to defeat Grand River Prep 64-62.
The Eagles took a lead with about three minutes left and held on when Dylan Sutton hit three-of-four free throws down the stretch.
Jaret Jaramillo led Kent City with 19 points while Josh Anderson had 12 points.
Both Will Harrison and Seth Vanderwest had 10 points for Kent City.

Mason County Central (13-4 overall, 6-2 conference): Will Chye 20 points 6 rebounds, five assists; Jayden Perrone 17 points, 4 rebounds.
