The Whitehall boys basketball team shocked the local area by handing Ludington its second loss of the season on Friday night.
Camden Thompson helped propel the Vikings to an 88-77 victory over Ludington, scoring 36 points, pulling down 18 rebounds, dishing out four assists and swiping four steals.
The Vikings trailed 26-18 after the first quarter and 43-40 at halftime.
Whitehall went on a 21-15 third quarter run to take a 61-58 lead into the final stanza before closing out the contest on a 27-21 tear.
[1]Kyle Stratton chipped in with 18 points and eight assists, while DJ Jamison added eight points.
The Orioles were paced by David Shillinger with 27 points, while Matthew Westhouse had 18 and Levi Laman added 13.
The Vikings improve to 14-5 on the season and 8-1 in conference play, while Ludington falls to 16-2 overall and 9-1 in league competition.
