The Whitehall girls basketball team used a late run to defeat Western Michigan Christian 42-35 on Tuesday night.

The Vikings led 9-8 after the first quarter but trailed 22-18 at halftime before taking a 29-28 lead after three quarters.

With the victory, Whitehall is now 8-5 overall on the season.

Ashley Folkema led the Warriors with 26 points, 13 rebounds and five steals while Brooklyn Watts added seven rebounds.

Western Michigan Christian is now 7-6 overall on the season.
