The Hart boys basketball team remains unbeaten after defeating Mason County Central 71-50 on Thursday in a West Michigan Conference contest.
Blake Weirich paced the Pirates with 27 points and eight rebounds while Parker Hovey added 24 points and pulled down 13 rebounds.
Diego Escamilla chipped in with 14 points for Hart.
The Pirates jumped out to a 24-11 lead after the opening quarter, led 43-26 at halftime and had a 50-38 advantage heading into the final stanza.
The Spartans were led by Will Chye with 13 points and nine rebounds while Kolden Myer scored 10 points while pulling down six rebounds.
Hart is now 9-0 on the season, while Mason County Central falls to 7-1 overall.
