Girls basketball roundup: Muskegon beats Traverse City Central for third straight win, Spring Lake tops WMC

Muskegon’s girls basketball team won for the third straight game and the eighth time in its last nine games Tuesday. The Big Reds picked up a 47-39 win over Traverse City Central in non-league action. 

Ty’Veonna Davis led Muskegon with 21 points and seven rebounds. Mariah Sain had eight points and six rebounds, Jaila Martin scored seven and Bre’asia Gamble Jones had six steals.

Muskegon is now 10-5 on the season after starting 2-4. The Big Reds are 7-0 in O-K Green play.
