Fruitport girls start conference play on a tough note, falling to Holland Christian 50-23

The Fruitport girls basketball team kicked off the O-K Blue conference portion of its schedule with a tough 50-23 loss to Holland Christian on Friday.

Ash Olson led the Trojans with 14 points while Auebre Johnson added eight.

Fruitport is now 4-4 overall and 0-1 in league play.

The Trojans will host Allendale in another O-K Blue contest on Tuesday.
