Both the boys and girls Fruitport bowling teams turned in strong performances at Saturday’s Reeths-Puffer Invitational at Northway Lanes.

The boys team finished third in qualifying rounds, then lost in the semifinal round of the team playoffs.

Bradon Krohn had a great day, placing fifth overall in individual competition with a 185-230-247-662 series.

Gage Wadland rolled a 578 series, Mike Hansen came in at 557 and Jray Conklin rolled a 527.

The girls team finished third in the preliminary rounds, then lost in the quarterfinals of the team playoffs.

Raegan Dykstra and Brynna Hanson (pictured together at the top) both performed extremely well.

Dykstra was third overall in individual competition with a 242-185-167-594 series. Hanson was seventh overall with a 191-202-140-533 series.

Lil Bongtreger rolled a 333 series and Nanami Hoshimo came in at 326.
