Fruitoort’s Collin Jolman (0), who snagged 10 rebounds in the loss.

Jolman led the Trojans on the boards with 10 rebounds.

“Besides the second quarter, I thought we played fairly well tonight,” said Fruitport coach Steve Erny. “Some dry spells on offense tonight is a credit to Coopersville. Shots weren’t falling and we were a little stagnant on offense, but our guys fought hard.

“We will take what we need from this game and continue to work.”

Fruitport is now 5-3 overall and 2-1 in conference play. [2]
