Boys hoops Tuesday roundup: Ludington uses overtime and huge second half surge to stay unbeaten

The Ludington boys basketball team got a hard fought 76-74 overtime non-conference victory over Traverse City Central.

The Orioles trailed 45-26 early in the second half before coming back to get the win.

The Orioles held the ball with 1:30 remaining in overtime before a shot by Levi Laman was good off an assist from Kol Anthes for the victory with two seconds remaining.

David Shillinger led Ludington with 35 points on the night which included 32 second half points.

Spencer Holmes finished with 14 points while Gage Jones had seven points and seven assists.

Ludington is now 13-0 overall and remains 6-0 in conference play.
