A big game from Cam Thompson led Whitehall to a non-conference win over Mona Shores Tuesday night. The sophomore posted a double-double of 31 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Vikings to an 82-69 win.
Whitehall led 24-13 after one quarter, 49-33 at halftime and 66-37 heading to the fourth. Mona Shores outscored the Vikings 32-16 in the final quarter.
In addition to Thompson’s big game, Trannon Aylor scored 24 points for Whitehall. Ca’mar Ready added nine points and Jack Houtteman scored eight.
Mason Hallett led Mona Shores with 19 points, while Ryan Opsommer added 13 points and six assists. Landyn Smith and Paul Ritter both scored nine points and JT Foster had seven points, six rebounds and five assists.
Whitehall is now 11-4 on the season, while Mona Shores is 4-10.
