The Fruitport girls basketball team picked up another win Tuesday night, beating Orchard View 36-25. Fruitport has now won three games in a row to improve to 3-2 on the season after going 1-20 last season.
Orchard View led 4-3 after one quarter, but Fruitport rallied to lead 20-7 at halftime. The Trojans led 25-15 heading to the fourth quarter.
Ash Olson led the Trojans with 12 points. Auebre Johnson chipped in eight and Mikayla Belasco scored six.
Cambrie Hardy scored 12 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead Orchard View. Elizabeth Estelle added five points and 10 rebounds, while Cyniah McKenzie had five points and eight boards.
