The Mona Shores girls basketball team defeated Forest Hills Northern 51-33 on Friday to improve to 3-3 on the season.

The Sailors led Khaleeya Cook with 11 points, while both Katie Phillips and Lauren Hylland each scored eight and Ali Phillips chipped in with seven.

Mona Shores led 15-7 at the end of the first quarter, 32-17 at halftime and 37-31 through three quarters.
