Whitehall opened the girls basketball season in exciting fashion with an overtime win over Cadillac Tuesday night. The Vikings scored a 12-7 edge in the extra session to win 41-36. 

Autumn Ferris was Whitehall’s leading scorer with 12 points. Lola Buckner added seven, Lexi Daggett had six and Marissa Strandberg and Jadyn Ringler had four each. 

Whitehall led 10-6 after the first quarter and 17-15 at halftime. The Vikings held a 21-20 edge after three quarters, but Cadillac evened the score 29-29 to send the game to overtime.
