The Ravenna football team gave Ithaca a good fight for the first half on Saturday, but then went on to fall to the Yellowjackets 63-27 in a Division 7 district championship game.

The Bulldogs scores 27 points in the second quarter and trailed 35-27 at halftime.

Ithaca controlled the final two quarters, however, tacking on 28 more points to claim the win and the district trophy.

Ravenna’s Hunter Hogan, who had a big game on offense and defense on Saturday.

Ravenna senior quarterback Hunter Hogan had a big day, rushing for 146 yards and a touchdown and passing for 82 yards and another two scores. Hogan also led the defense with 13 tackles, including eight solo stops, and an interception.

Blake Homoly had seven catches for the Bulldogs for 98 yards and one touchdown.

Derek Finlay had 6.5 tackles for Ravenna while Drew Mabrito added five.

Ravenna finished the season with a 7-4 record.
