Haylee Schwarz, 5-9 senior guard who averaged five points and five rebounds per game last season.

Emma Peterson, 5-6 senior guard who averaged three assists per game last season.

ANTICIPATED TEAM STRENGTHS
Team chemistry will be a strength for Montague as the group has basically been together since the end of last year. The group has spent a lot of time together off the court and on the court at team camps. The Wildcats will also compete and work hard, according to Thaler.

ANTICIPATED TEAM CHALLENGES
Just staying hungry and staying the course. The Wildcats will work hard to remain focused on their team goals and not take any team lightly.

TEAMS TO BEAT IN THE CONFERENCE
Ludington, Whitehall and Oakridge should be Montague’s top competition in the West Michigan Conference Lakes Division, according to Thaler.
