ANTICIPATED TEAM STRENGTHS
The Packers will enter the season with 15 girls (up from last year’s seven) on the roster, providing depth, allowing players to rest and enabling the Packers to run more effective drills in practice. The Packers also have a lot of athleticism that will help them compete.
ANTICIPATED TEAM CHALLENGES
While the Packers have numbers, few of the players have any varsity experience. The team will most likely experience growing pains as the season goes on, with 11 of the 15 making their first varsity appearances.
TEAMS TO BEAT IN THE CONFERENCE
The Packers are in a new situation as a brand new member of the West Michigan Conference Lakes Division, but Zerlaut expects Ludington to be strong.
