Whitehall continued its season-long dominance Friday against Ludington, posting its fourth win by 50 or more points in the last five weeks. The Vikings scored 56 points in the first half en route to a 56-6 win over the Orioles.
Kyle Stratton got the scoring started with a 38-yard run in the first quarter. Nate Bolley then returned a fumble 28-yards for a score, followed by a 43-yard TD pass from Stratton to Trannon Aylor to make it 21-0 after one quarter.
Stratton added two more scoring runs and a pair of TD passes — 6-yards to Camden Thompson and 15-yards to Aylor — in the second. Jackson Cook scored on a 35-yard fumble return touchdown. The score was 56-0 at halftime.
Ludington got on the board with three minutes remaining on a 1-yard touchdown run by Gage Jones.
Stratton finished 7-for-11 through the air for 109 yards and added 81 yards rushing. Aylor had two catches for 58 yards, while Thompson had three grabs for 37 yards. Bolley had two interceptions defensively, while Ca’Mar Ready had one.
Jaiden Altgilbers led Whitehall with four tackles, while Everett Napier and Darnell Mack both had 3.5.
Chase Hackert had 48 rushing yards to lead Ludington and was 10-for-26 passing for 23 yards. Jones was 2-for-3 in the air for 23 yards, ran for 23 yards on five carries and led the defense with 7.5 tackles. Levi Laman had four catches for 23 yards. Cole Johnson made an interception on defense. [1]
