The North Muskegon boys soccer team advanced to the D4 district semifinals with a 3-0 win over Muskegon Catholic Central on Wednesday night.

Gabe Lenius had a goal and an assist to pace the Norse, while Dallyn Ellis and Chase Zizak each added a goal.

Zach Mallon and Cole Johnson each chipped in with an assist.

Leighton Hunt stopped six shots for a shutout win in net for North Muskegon.

The Norse are now 8-10-3 overall on the season and they will face NorthPointe Christian next Tuesday in the semifinals.

Muskegon falls short against Coopersville in D2 districts opener

The Muskegon boys soccer team ended their season on Wednesday in the Division 2 district opener against Coopersville by a 5-2 margin.

Kevin Deleon and Michael Williams each scored a goal for the Big Reds.
