Trever Jones piles up 265 yards, four touchdowns to lead Oakridge to a 32-0 playoff win over Shepherd

Oakridge running back Trever Jones broke loose for 265 rushing yards and four touchdowns to lead the Eagles to a 32-0 victory over Shepherd on Friday in a Division 5 pre-district game.

Jones did all of his scoring in the first half, finding the end zone on a one-yard run and a 22-yard run in the first quarter and a two-yard plunge and a three-yard burst in the second.

The Eagles had successful two-point conversions after all four TDs.

Oakridge quarterback Matt Danicek competed 9 of 12 passes for 149 yards. Evan Miller caught four passes for short gains while Chris Knapp was the yardage leader with two receptions for 82 yards.

Jones also led the defense with nine tackles, including one sack. Riley Bean and Julian Primmer each had six tackles and while Brody Jennings added five.

Oakridge, now 9-1 on the season, will face Belding (9-1) next week in the district finals. [2]
