Mona Shores continued to roll in O-K Green conference play with a win over Zeeland East Friday. The Sailors won 42-7, racking up their fifth straight comfortable win in league play. 

Mona Shores got off to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter. The Sailors scored on a 40-yard pass from Jonathan Pittman to Ke’Waun Farmum and a pair of short TD runs by Dahmir Farnum.

Pittman added a second touchdown pass, this one an 11-yard strike to Jaylen Vinton, in the second quarter. Mona Shores led 28-0 at halftime.

Zeeland East scored first after halftime to make it 28-7. The Sailors finished the scoring with touchdown runs by Dahmir Farnum and Pittman in the third quarter. 

Pittman finished the night 10-for-11 passing for 195 yards. He added 36 yards on the ground. Dahmir Farnum ran for 118 yards and three scores.

Vinton totaled 111 receiving yards on four catches, while Ke’Waun Farnum had 40 yards receiving.

Mona Shores is now 6-1 on the season, including a perfect 5-0 in the O-K Green. Each of the Sailors’ conference wins have come by at least 28 points. The Sailors take on Reeths-Puffer next week.
