Ludington finishes the regular season with a 28-8 victory over Mason County Central

The Ludington football team used a 21-8 second quarter advantage to defeat Mason County Central 28-8 on Friday night.
With the victory, Ludington finishes the regular season with an overall record of 7-2 including a 4-2 West Michigan Conference Lakes Division record.
After an early second quarter Spartan touchdown, Chase Hackert found Levi Laman for a 25-yard touchdown pass to cut the Oriole deficit to 8-7 with 7:59 left in the second quarter.
Just 63 seconds later, Hackert found Aidan Gilchrist for an 11-yard touchdown pass to give Ludington a 14-8 lead.
Hackert then dashed for a 33-yard touchdown run to give Ludington a 21-8 halftime lead.
In the fourth quarter, Trey Forfinski scored on a three-yard touchdown to complete the scoring on the night and give Ludington a 28-8 lead.
Hackert finished 8-of-17 passing for 99 yards and two touchdowns while Forfinski totaled 54 yards and one touchdown on 10 attempts.
Gage Jones led the Orioles receivers with 37 yards on two catches while Forfinski totaled 10.5 tackles including two for loss.
