After two rough weeks against tough competition, Kent City was ready to get back in the win column and did so with a 52-14 victory over Grant.

Kent City didn’t let up after halftime, adding 12 more points to take a 52-8 lead at the end of three quarters.
Grant added one touchdown in the fourth to make it 52-14 final.
The Eagles were led on offense by Kyler Larson who went 2 for 3 passing for 27 yards while adding 78 yards rushing on six carries and one touchdown. Mason Westbrook added 68 yards rushing and one touchdown on eight carries while Caden Hartzell added 61 yards and a touchdown on six carries.
Joe VanOffelen added 19 yards rushing on one carry for one touchdown.
On Defense, the Eagles were led by Webb Longcore with five tackles and one sack. Larson added three tackles and a pick-six. VanOffelen added three tackles and two sacks while Hartzell added three tackles.
Kent City finishes the season 7-2 overall and 3-0 In league play.
