The Grand Haven football team ended the season with a 56-30 loss to Hudsonville on Friday night.
The Buccaneers opened the scoring on a 51-yard touchdown run by Bode Wilson before a Xzavier Rodriguez one-yard touchdown run tied the score at 14-14 at the end of the first quarter.
In the second quarter, Lance Poole scored on a 12-yard touchdown run for Grand Haven, but they trailed 35-21headed into the second half.
Hudsonville added three more touchdowns in the second half while the Buccaneers scored on a 30-yard touchdown run by Xzavier Rodriguez and a safety.
Rodriguez led the Buccaneers in rushing with 109 yds and 2 TD’s while adding 140 yards in the air.
Grand Haven finishes the season with a record of 1-8 on the season.
