The Fremont football team ended its season with a 4-5 record following a 35-6 loss to Manistee on Friday.
The Chippewas led 7-0 after one quarter and 21-0 at halftime, then added two more touchdowns in the second half.
Fremont got on the scoreboard late in the game on a 60-yard touchdown pass from Kyler DeKuiper to Gabe Curtice.
Talen Reichert-Slater completed 7 of 13 passes for Fremont for 83 yards while DeKuiper was 2-for-=2 for 51 yards and one touchdown.
Justin Dirheimer had 12 carries for 51 yards for the Packers. DeKuiper, usually a quarterback, caught three passes for 43 yards.
Michael Romero and Gabe VanVleet had 11 and 7 tackles for Fremont, respectively.
