Bryan Convertini scored four total touchdowns to lead Muskegon Catholic to a 41-8 victory over Muskegon Heights on Friday night.

Convertini threw for 17 yards on 2-for-3 passing with a touchdown, while rushing for 64 yards on seven carries and three scores from the ground.

The Crusaders led 21-0 after the first quarter, scoring on a seven-yard pass from Bryan Convertini to David Hill and two rushing touchdowns by Convertini from three and 27 yards out.

Muskegon Catholic added two more touchdowns in the second quarter on a 15-yard run by Vince Szymanski and an eight-yard rush by Convertini to give the Crusaders a 35-0 lead at halftime.

The Crusaders added a nine-yard touchdown run by Bode Zygmuntowski in the third quarter to take a 41-0 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Muskegon Heights scored the lone touchdown in the fourth quarter on a four-yard run.

John McCann and Andrew Rosema paced the Crusaders defense with 3.5 tackles apiece.

Muskegon Catholic improves to 5-2 on the season and will play Centreville next weekend.
