The Spring Lake football team was overmatched on Friday night, losing 41-6 to Grand Rapids West Catholic in a O-K Blue Conference clash.
The Lakers trailed 14-0 after the first quarter, 20-0 at halftime and 41-0 after three quarters.
Reid Grimmer found Jackson Lemmen for a 13-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter for the lone score for the Lakers.
Grimmer totaled 41 yards on 6-of-11 passing while Gerrit Lyyski led the rushing attack with 33 yards on four carries.
Brayden Stone had four tackles to lead the Lakers defensively.
Spring Lake is now 1-2 on the season and will next travel to Allendale for a conference matchup.
