The Montague football team used a strong first half to defeat Orchard View 42-6 on Friday night.
The Wildcats led 14-0 after one quarter, 35-0 at halftime and 42-0 after three quarters in the victory.
Adam Baird paced the offensive attack with 117 yards and four touchdowns on nine carries while Chase Gowell well 9-of-10 passing for 174 yards and two touchdowns.
Gowell also totaled 71 yards and one touchdown on four carries.
Baird also led the receiving attack with 75 yards and one touchdown on two catches while Owen Petersen finished with 30 yards and one touchdown on two catches of his own.
Defensively, Silas Jancek led the Wildcats with nine solo tackles and four assisted tackles while Izac Jarka added five solo tackles and one assisted tackle.
Montague is now 2-1 on the season and will next travel to Whitehall.
