Monday soccer roundup: Fruitport battle back to take down Allendale in O-K Blue clash

The Fruitport soccer team defeated Allendale 2-1 in a tough conference clash on Monday night.
After a scoreless first half, Allendale netted the first goal of the game in the second half to take a 1-0 lead.
The Trojans counted moments later when Jackson Rebone netted a goal off an assist from Bode Anspach to tie the game 1-1.
Just five minutes later, Rebone scored again off an assist from Jorge Burgos-Yack to give the Trojans a 2-1 lead.
Justin Laus picked up the win while making seven saves on the night.
West Michigan Christian uses late burst to down Whitehall
The Western Michigan Christian soccer team used a late surge to down Whitehall 7-2 on Monday night.
With just 23 minutes left, the West Michigan Christian soccer team led Whitehall 3-2 in a tough contested battle.
However, in the span of just four minutes, the Warriors netted three goals to take a 6-2 lead before eventually winning 7-2.
Jack McDowell and Myson Kelley each netted goals for the Vikings on the night.
Hart and Ravenna battle to tie
The Hart soccer team tied Ravenna 1-1 on Monday night in a West Michigan Conference clash.
Bryce Jorissen netted the lone Pirate goal when he scored off an assist from Tony Rayo.
Oakridge downs Montague 2-0
Arturo Romero had a strong night for the Eagles, picking up a goal and an assist in the victory.
Romero found Dallas Meyers on a corner kick to give Oakridge a 1-0 lead.
The Eagles then jumped ahead 2-0 when Romero put home a penalty kick which sealed the win.
Ludington explodes in victory over Fremont
The Ludington soccer team had Spencer Holmes and Ryan Millspaugh each net two goals in a 6-1 victory on Monday night.
Also scoring for the Orioles on the night were Connor Wendt and Conner Rudzki.
Ultan Ryan and Parker Wendt each had two assists on the night while Holmes had one assist.
John Vissia scored the lone Fremont goal on the night.
Ludington is now 14-1-1 overall and 7-0 in conference play while Fremont falls to 4-10-1 overall and 1-7 in conference play.
