The Mona Shores boys soccer team defeated Western Michigan Christian 3-1 on Saturday in the “Hero’s Cup”.

With 3:08 left in the first half, Kaden Pulaski scored off an assist from Gavyn Stout to give the Sailors a 1-0 lead.

After a Warriors goal tied the game in the second half, Louis Rimbault netted two goals to give the Sailors a 3-1 lead.

Ryan Burnaw and Dan VanderPloeg each picked up assists for Mona Shores.

Dylan Brady picked up the win for the Sailors, making nine saves on the day.

Mona Shores is now 8-1-2 overall on the season.
