It seems not much can go wrong for the Kent City football program these days. The Eagles continued a hot start to the season Friday with a 67-26 victory over White Cloud.

Kent City was led by a two-headed attack of Mason Westbrook and Zane Kik, who combined for 302 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns.

The Eagles led 27-0 after the first quarter and increased the lead to 47-6 at halftime. Kent City scored 20 points in the final quarter to ultimately win 67-26.

Westbrook led the attack with 180 yards and four touchdowns on seven carries. Kik added 122 yards and three touchdowns on just six carries.

Caden Hartzell added 88 yards and a score on four carries, while Kyler Larson had 45 yards and two TDs on four carries.

On defense, Kent City was led by Ari Baker with six tackles and one forced fumble.

Wesbrook, Kik, Chase Moreno, Arin Sarres, Jim Anderson and Gabe Russnell all added four tackles a piece.

Kent City moves to 4-0 and 1-0 in CSAA Silver divisional play. The Eagles will travel to Lakeview next week.
