Kent City continued its stellar start to the season on Friday night with a 34-0 victory over Lakeview.

The first two touchdowns were run in by Kyler Larson, one each in the first and second quarters, to give Kent City a 14-0 halftime lead.

The Eagles added three touchdowns in the second half on a 22-yard touchdown pass from Larson to Webb Longcore, another TD run by Larson and one by Gabe Rusnell.

Larson led the rushing attack with 190 yards and three touchdowns on just six carries. He also threw for 37 yards and a TD on 3-of-4 passing.

Caden Hartzell finished with 42 yards on 9 carries and Joe VanOffelen added 32 yards on 2 carries. Chase Moreno led the Eagle defense with 10 tackles and 1 sack.

Kent City is now 5-0 overall and 2-0 in CSAA play. They’ll next travel to Morley Stanwood.
