The Grand Haven football team fell 35-14 on the road to West Ottawa on Friday night in an O-K Red Conference clash.
The Buccaneers trailed 7-0 after one quarter and 13-0 in the second quarter before a one-yard touchdown run by Chase Robinson cut the deficit to 13-7 which was ultimately the halftime score.
After three quarter, Grand Haven trailed 21-7 due to a 98-yard West Ottawa touchdown in the quarter.
The Buccaneers trailed 35-7 in the fourth quarter before Xzavier Rodriguez punched in a three-yard touchdown, making the final score 35-14.
Rodriguez led Grand Haven with 84 yards on 12-of-20 passing while also adding 64 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.
Chase Robinson led the receivers with 43 yards on five catches.
Grand Haven is now 1-5 overall and 0-4 in conference play, they’ll next host Caledonia.
