The Hudsonville softball team won a district title after beating Zeeland West 8-3 in the semifinal game, then cruising to a 9-2 win over Jenison.
Elly Koopman pitched a complete game for the Eagles, allowing two runs on eight hits while striking out two. Annika Talsma paced the offense with three hits and five RBIs, while Avery Hobson added two hits, two runs scored and three RBIs.
Megan Beemer added two hits while scoring three runs and Ella Reifschneider contributed with a hit and two runs scored.
The Eagles were led in the semifinal contest by Hobson and Jessica Dobias with three hits each, while Reifschneider and Talsma had two hits.
Koopman also won the contest, tossing six innings and allowing no runs on five hits while striking out eight batters.
The Eagles will open up regionals against Byron Center on Saturday.
