The Hart softball team won a Division 3 district title game on Saturday after defeating Mason County Central 18-8 in the semifinals, then cruising to a 15-4 win over Manistee.
In the semifinal contest, Gabby Quijas started the game and Finley Kistler won the contest in relief.
Skylar Smith led the Pirate offense with four hits and five RBIs, while Morgan Marvin had four RBIs and Abby Hicks chipped in with two hits.
Hart pounded out 16 hits as a team in the district title game led by Smith, Hicks and Gabby Schmieding with three hits apiece, while Marvin and Kelsey Copenhaver chipped in with two hits.
The Pirates face Evart in the regional semifinals at Clare next Saturday.
