The Muskegon Catholic baseball team suffered a 6-0 defeat against Grandville Calvin Christian in a non-league game on Friday night.

Sam Convertini suffered the loss from the mound, allowing five runs in four innings while striking out five batters.

The Crusaders were paced offensively by Dewey Modaff with three hits, while Bryan Convertini, Nick Powell and Sam Kartes each added two.

MCC stranded 14 runners on base during the contest.

The Crusaders are now 11-11 overall on the season.
