The Mona Shores softball team swept Whitehall in a non-conference twin bill on Thursday. The Sailors won by scores of 15-9 and 20-6.

Mia Geoghan led the Sailors at the plate in the opener, driving in seven runs on three hits, including a grand slam. Hannah Geoghan, Abbie Critchett, Maggie McCarthy, and Brooklyn Graham collected three hits apiece. 

Kristen Hylland earned the win in the circle, allowing nine runs on eight hits while striking out four. 

In Game 2, Critchett led the offense with four hits, while Mia Geoghan, Hannah Geoghan and Macey Spanolia had multiple hits in the contest. In addition to her offense, Spanolia picked up the win, allowing six runs on eight hits while striking out four in five innings of work.
