The Holton baseball squad won two games of a doubleheader against Morley-Stanwood on Friday.

The Red Devils won a tight opener by a 3-2 final, then cruised in the nightcap by a 12-2 margin.

Austin Fowler earned the win in Game 1, tossing two innings of relief and striking out four batters. Kevin Erickson started the contest and went five innings, giving up two runs and striking out two.

Erickson also collected the winning single in the seventh inning and led the team with two RBIs.

Fowler, Rice Robins, Steven Kersting, Brodick Fialek and Bo Larabee also had a hit in the game.

Carter Brant pitched the victory in Game 2, allowing two runs while striking out five hitters in 4 2/3 innings.

Brant, Fowler, Kersting, Fialek and Larabee each recorded a pair of hits.
