A huge game from Sophia Hekkema led Reeths-Puffer to an OK Green conference win over Grand Rapids Union, 5-2, on Tuesday.
Hekkema scored four goals on the night and assisted on the team’s other goal, which was scored by Emma Martin.
Martin had two assists on the night as well, while Taeah Rensberger and Brooke Bradley had one each. Tessa Lamphere made four saves in the net.
The game was tied at halftime before Reeths-Puffer pulled away in the second half.
Alyssa Herbert, Alyvia Ackerberg, Irelyn Niklasch, Jaymi Carmean, Ava Klopp and Grace Goodell contributed to the win as well.
The Rockets are now 10-3 on the season, including 5-2 in conference play.
