The Mona Shores girls soccer team defeated Fruitport 6-0 on Saturday to give the Trojans their first loss of the season.
Addison Nellis led Mona Shores with a three goal hat-trick while Shay Norden finished with two goals and Lydia Sowles had one goal.
Lauren Hylland totaled three assists on the day whiel Sowles and Ali Trautner each had one assist.
Jenna Baker finished with a shutout victory in net, helping Mona Shores improve to 2-1-1 overall.
REETHS-PUFFER 2, WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 1 – Ally Oppenhuizen scored on a penalty kick late in the first half to give the Warriors a 1-0 lead on Saturday.
In the second half, Jaymi Carmean of Reeths-Puffer scored off a rebound to tie the game at 1-1 before Emma Martin scored the game winning goal.
