The Oakridge baseball team split with Sault Ste Marie on Saturday in a non-conference doubleheader at Marsh Field, winning Game 1 8-3 before falling 3-2 in Game 2.
Garrett Weaver and Matt Danicek each had two hits to lead the Eagles offense in the first game. Weaver had one RBI while Danicek had two RBIs.
Corey Vanderputte and Ryan Cribbins each scored twice in the victory.
Vanderputte and Evan Miller scored the lone Oakridge runs in Game 2.
MONA SHORES 11-11, GRAND HAVEN 1-1 – The Mona Shores baseball team was dominant on Saturday, sweeping a non-conference double header.
Diego Pena had two hits and three RBIs to lead the Sailor offense in Game 1 while Jaxon Huffman added two hits, two runs and three RBIs including a home run.
Landen Thalman picked up the victory, allowing two hits and striking out four.
Aaron Piasecki finished with two hits, three runs and three stolen bases as well in the opening game.
In Game 2, Trevor Cunningham picked up the win, allowing one run on two hits while also striking out two.
Mark Konecny led the offense with four hits, three runs scored and two RBIs in the second victory.
Mona Shores is now 7-0 overall and remain 3-0 in O-K Green play.
ORCHARD VIEW DROPS TWO – The Orchard View baseball team fell 10-4 to East Kentwood and 11-3 to Calvin Christian on Saturday.
Kellen Morgan finished with eight strikeouts in three innings versus East Kentwood while Jacob Peterman had two hits.
In the loss versus Calvin Christian, Emillo Villareal led the offense with two hits.
NORTH MUSKEGON GOES 1-1 – The North Muskegon baseball team defeated Calvin Christian 8-2 before falling 7-5 to East Kentwood on Saturday.
In Game 1, James Young allowed just two hits while striking out four in five innings of work.
Offensively, Ben Meyers went 3-for-5 while hitting a grand slam while Sam Gallo had two hits, one run and two RBIs.
In the nightcap, Troy McManus led the norse offense with two hits and two runs while Gallo had one hit, one run and one RBI.
