The Ravenna softball team picked up a pair of wins in a non-conference doubleheader with Newaygo on Tuesday. Ravenna won by scores of 10-0 and 13-6.
Emma Herremans pitched the opener for the Bulldogs, allowing two hits and four walks while striking out seven. She also had a double at the plate.
Maddie Kilbourne had two hits, while Emma Gillard, Kara Postema and Amelia Porter had one each.
In Game 2, Herremans knocked four hits, including a double and a triple. Kilbourne, Porter, Postema and Ellie Solem each had multiple hits for the Bulldogs. Emma Gillard, Kendra Denhof, Addison Gillard and Alexis McMahon had a hit each.
Addison Gillard pitched six innings, struck out six and allowed two runs on five hits in the second game.
