The Fremont girls soccer squad won its first game of the season, defeating Hart 8-1 in a non-league contest on Friday.
The Packers were led by Mia Witte with three goals and an assist, while Mia Clemence added two goals and an assist.
Fremont jumped out to 4-0 lead at halftime.
Riley Chase, Lili Isak and Trinity Freriks each chipped in with a goal and an assist for the Packers.
Fremont’s Macey Powers and Jessie Petry each stopped two shots apiece on goal for the Packers.
The Pirates lone tally was scored by Iraida Gil Hernandez. It was assisted by Sandy Salgado.
Maricruz Andaverde stopped 12 shots in net for Hart.
The Packers improved to 1-1 overall, while Hart is now 0-1 on the season.
