Kendall Zoulek had 16 points, including her 1000th in her varsity career, to lead the Shelby girls basketball team to a 37-34 win over Whitehall on Wednesday night.
The Tigers trailed 10-5 after the opening quarter and 21-18 at halftime. Shelby went on a 10-5 third quarter run to take a 28-26 advantage heading into the fourth.
Zoulek also pulled down eight rebounds for Shelby, while Aubrey Klotz had nine points.

The Vikings were led by Charley Klint with 20 points and 11 rebounds while Jadyn Ringler added six points.
Whitehall finished the regular season 8-12 overall and 6-8 in league play.
MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 40, NORTH MUSKEGON 18 – The Spartans cruised to a West Michigan Conference win on Wednesday night.
Grace Weinert led Mason County Central with 12 points and four assists, while both Charlie Banks and Wren Nelson each added nine points and six rebounds apiece.
The Spartans led 7-2 after the first quarter, 15-11 at halftime and 23-11 through three quarters.
Mason County Central is now 13-6 overall and 9-5 in league play.
FREMONT 65, CHIPPEWA HILLS 60 – The Packers scored a season-high 65 points to earn a victory on Wednesday night.
Fremont trailed 15-12 at the end of the first quarter but led 30-28 at halftime. The Packers were behind 45-41 heading into the fourth quarter before finishing the contest strong.
Khaila Noordyk scored a team-high 18 points and pulled down nine rebounds while Haley Zerlaut added 14 points, nine assists and six steals.
Jessica Bennett chipped in with nine points and six rebounds.
WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 70, OAKRIDGE 41 – The Eagles trailed 14-11 after the first quarter, 29-21 at halftime and 47-28 through three quarters.
Destyni Lane led Oakridge with 12 points, three steals and five rebounds, while Jasmine Pastor added 12 points and five rebounds. Andrea Romero-Serrano chipped in with six points and four steals.
The Eagles are 7-12 on the season and 6-7 in league play.
