Cate Anhalt’s 24 points and eight rebounds led the Fruitport Calvary girls basketball squad to a 63-22 win over Grand River Prep on Tuesday night.

Fruitport Calvary led 7-5 after the first quarter, led 27-14 at halftime and had a 46-20 advantage heading into the fourth quarter.

McKena Wilson added 18 points and six steals, while Reagan Payton chipped in with 15 points, five rebounds and three steals.

McKena Wilson led the Eagles to victory.

The Eagles improved to 11-1 on the season and 5-0 in league play.

O-K GREEN CONFERENCE

REETHS PUFFER 77, ZEELAND EAST 29-Four Rockets finished the contest in double figures in an O-K Green Conference victory on Tuesday.

Sophia Hekkema paced the Rockets with 17 points. Brooklyn Tornes recorded 15, while Ariel Walker finished with 14. Arrionna Williams was the fourth Rocket in double figures with 13.

Reeth-Puffer jumped out to a 19-8 lead after one quarter and led 33-19 at halftime.

The Rockets outscored Zeeland East 31-5 in the third quarter, taking a 64-24 lead into the fourth quarter.

WEST MICHIGAN D LEAGUE

PENTWATER 37, BEAR LAKE 17-The Falcons shut down their opponent in the second quarter, which led to a West Michigan D League victory on Tuesday night.

Pentwater jumped out to a 16-6 lead after the first quarter and took a 19-6 lead into halftime.

The Falcons extended the lead to 26-11 at the start of the fourth quarter.

Jocelyn Richinson paced the Falcons with 20 points while Haidyn Adams finished the contest with seven.

Pentwater is now 2-10 on the season and 2-8 in conference play.

NON-CONFERENCE

HOLTON 45, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC 31-The Red Devils cruised to a non-conference win on Tuesday night.

Holton jumped out to a 13-8 lead after one quarter and led 21-14 at halftime.

The Red Devils extended their lead in the third quarter to a 33-24 margin.

Sara Albanese led the Crusaders with 10 points.

The Crusaders are now 7-6 overall this season.

O-K RED CONFERENCE

WEST OTTAWA 38, GRAND HAVEN 32- The Bucs were led in a losing effort by Caydee Constant with 14 points while Molly Long pulled down eight rebounds.

Grand Haven trailed 10-9 after the first quarter, led 20-19 at halftime and fell back behind by a 32-25 margin heading into the final stanza.

The Bucs are now 7-8 overall and 3-6 in league play.

SATURDAY RESULTS

SPRING LAKE 56, WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 48 – The Lakers overcame a 25-17 halftime deficit to win a non-league contest on Saturday.

Spring Lake outscored the Warriors by a 39-23 margin to erase the eight-point halftime deficit.

Jennifer Judge and Ella Andree each nailed two three-point baskets during the third quarter to fuel the comeback effort while Meah Bajt and Nicole Schmitt each made one from beyond the perimeter.

Andree paced the Lakers with 15 points, three rebounds and four steals, while Judge added 13 points, three rebounds and three steals.

Spring Lake’s Bajt chipped in with 10 points, six rebounds, six assists and four steals, and Schmitt finished with 10 points and three rebounds.

The Warriors were led by Lexi Daggert with 18 points, while Kyla Wiersema scored 17 and Madison Wiersema chipped in with nine.

The Lakers are now 10-4 overall, while WMC is now 9-4 on the season.

MONDAY RESULTS

HOLTON 51, ORCHARD VIEW 21 – The Red Devils led 23-15 at halftime, then pulled away during the second half to win a non-league game on Monday night.

Courtney Boes paced Holton with 10 points, eight rebounds and seven steals, while Abby Fowler chipped in with five assists and seven steals. Ryann Robbins added seven points and eight rebounds.

The Red Devils are now 9-5 on the season and have won four straight contests.

LUDINGTON 37, TRAVERSE CITY WEST 28 – The Orioles were paced by Keelyn Laird with 13 points, while Olivia Lynn added 12 and RyAnn Rohrer added nine.

Ludington led 8-7 after the first quarter, 21-13 at halftime and 29-21 through three quarters.
