Ryann Robins scored 18 points to lead the Holton girls basketball team to a 43-38 victory over Fruitport Calvary Christian on Tuesday in non-league action

Courtney Boes added 11 points for Holton while Abbie Fowler chipped in with eight.

The Red Devils jumped out to a 16-12 lead after the first quarter, but it was the Eagles who led 25-22 at halftime and 35-33 at the end of three before Holton rallied in the fourth.

Fruitport Calvary was led by McKenna Wilson and Cate Anhalt. Who each recorded 16 points.

Holton is now 13-7 on the season while Fruitport Calvary dropped to 12-5.

WEST MICHIGAN CONFERENCE

MONTAGUE 42, RAVENNA 27 – The Wildcats jumped out to an 8-4 lead after the first quarter, 27-11 at halftime and 37-15 after three quarters.

Kendall Osborne paced the Wildcats with 13 points. Maddie Meacham chipped in with 12 points and seven rebounds, while Emma Dyer finished the contest with seven points.

The Bulldogs were led by Madeline Kilbourne with 10 points while Emma Gillard scored nine.

The Wildcats are now 15-4 overall and 11-2 in conference play.

O-K RED

GRAND HAVEN 50, GRANDVILLE 42 – The Bucs outscore Grandville 18-0 in the first quarter en route to an OK Red Conference victory on Tuesday night.

The Bucs went into half time leading 26-17, and led 33-25 after three quarters before the Bulldogs closed the gap in the fourth.

Caydee Constant paced the Bucs with 22 points, Zoe Spoelman finished with 11 points and Alyssa Hatzel chipped in with seven.

The Bucs are now 9-10 overall, and 5-8 in conference play.

O-K BLUE

HAMILTON 52, SPRING LAKE 48 – The Lakers fell behind 12-6 after the first quarter and trailed 28-25 at halftime and 40-36 after three.

Ella Andree paced the Lakers with 15 points and five rebounds. Meah Bajt finished the contest with 12 points, while Alexa Carter chipped in with 10 points.

Spring Lake is now 12-7 overall and 8-5 in conference play.

NON-CONFERENCE

ZION CHRISTIAN 31, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC CENTRAL 30 – Zion Christian scored the go-ahead bucket with eight seconds left in the game.

The Crusaders fell behind 12-4 after the first quarter and trailed 20-14 at halftime and 24-18 after three, before the game got very tight down the stretch.

McKenna Gentry paced the Crusaders with 14 points while Sara Albanese chipped in with six.

The Crusaders are now 8-10 overall this year.
