A dominant fourth quarter propelled the Ravenna boys basketball team to a 51-47 West Michigan Conference win on Friday against Shelby.
Shelby led 12-9 after the first quarter, 21-16 at halftime and 42-31 through three quarters. The Bulldogs closed out the contest by going on a 20-5 run during the fourth.
Grant Becklin paced Ravenna with 21 points, seven rebounds and three steals, while Kyle Beebe added 13 points and nine assists.

The Tigers were led by Joseph Hayes, who put up 22 points and 10 rebounds on the night despite the loss.
Ravenna improved to 11-6 overall and 9-4 in conference play, while the Tigers fell to 11-7 overall and 7-6 in conference play.
Both teams will finish the regular season schedule next week.
