The Pentwater girls basketball team was held scoreless during the fourth quarter in its loss to Mason County Eastern by a 38-29 margin on Thursday night.
The Falcons had a 12-9 lead at the end of the opening quarter but fell behind 17-15 at halftime.
Pentwater went on a 14-9 third quarter run to take a 29-26 lead entering the fourth quarter but were outscored 12-0 in the final stanza.
Haidyn Adams led the Falcons with 10 points, while Jocelyn Richison scored eight. Mikaylyn Kenney had six points, pulled down 13 rebounds and had four steals defensively.
