The hot-shooting Muskegon Big Reds continued to plow through their schedule with an easy 79-36 victory over Zeeland East in an O-K Green conference matchup on Friday.
Muskegon led 12-8 after one quarter, 36-13 and 69-27 after three quarters. The Big Reds exploded for 24 points in the second quarter and 33 in the third, and combined for nine three-pointers in the two quarters.
The Big Reds were hot from three-point land, nailing 14 triples. They were also good at the line, sinking 13 of 19 free throws.
Jordan Briggs led the way with 21 points, including five triples. David Day added 14 points, including four triples, while Anthony Sydnor had 10 points, including two three-pointers.
Muskegon is now 17-1 overall and 14-1 in conference play.
