Jaxson Whitaker scored 23 points, with 21 coming on seven three-pointers, to lead the Reeths-Puffer boys basketball team to a 61-38 drubbing of Zeeland East on Tuesday in O-K Green conference action.
The Rockets only led 12-9 after one quarter, but then scored 23 points in the second quarter and had a 35-24 lead at halftime and cruised from there.

Whitaker also had nine assists and four rebounds in the game. Travis Ambrose totaled 19 points, 14 rebounds and seven blocks while Kyle Schlaff had four assists and four rebounds.
Reeths-Puffer improved to 9-5 overall and 6-3 in conference play. The Rockets will host Zeeland West on Friday.
